Privacy Policy

The short version: VialCue’s iPhone app stores your records on your device. It has no required account, advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking. If you contact support, we receive only what you choose to send.

1. Information in the iPhone app

You may enter routine names, schedules, amounts as written, reminders, notes, inventory details, injection-site history, wellbeing check-ins, and weight records. This information is stored in VialCue’s local database on your iPhone. Version 1.0 does not transmit that database to us.

2. Notifications

If you enable reminders, VialCue asks iOS for notification permission and schedules notifications locally. Notification text is intentionally generic and does not include a routine name or amount. Apple controls delivery through iOS notification settings.

3. Exporting and deleting

You can export a JSON copy of your records or a CSV copy of your history. An export leaves VialCue only when you choose a destination through the iOS share sheet; the destination’s own privacy terms then apply. You can erase all local VialCue data from Settings. Deleting the app also removes its local database, subject to Apple’s device backup behavior.

4. Face ID and device authentication

If you enable Privacy Lock, VialCue asks iOS to authenticate you using Face ID or your device passcode. VialCue does not receive or store biometric data.

5. Website delivery and security data

Our hosting, domain, and security providers may process standard request data—such as IP address, browser and device information, requested page, timestamps, and security events—to deliver, troubleshoot, and protect this website. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or website analytics. See our Cookie & Storage Policy.

6. Support communications

If you email support, we and our email-routing and mailbox providers receive your email address, message, routing metadata, and any information you include so we can respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Do not send medical records, app exports, diagnoses, prescription details, or other sensitive health information.

We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and applicable recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion, subject to legal and security exceptions, by emailing [email protected].

7. Children

VialCue is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Sale, advertising, and tracking

We do not sell personal information. The iPhone app does not track you across apps or websites. Version 1.0 contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDK.

9. Service providers and legal disclosures

We use service providers only to operate the website, domain, security, and support email. They process information under their own terms and applicable law. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, investigate abuse, or complete a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards.

10. International processing

Website and support providers may process information outside your province, state, or country. Their locations and legal obligations may differ from yours.
